Nicole began taking Spanish classes in junior high school and never looked back. She joined the soccer team at the encouragement of her Spanish teacher who was also the head coach. She had no idea how much this decision would impact her life, as she was forced to engage with Spanish on and off the soccer field, at various jobs, throughout her careers in service and retail industry. She now works in social services and also is involved in the local Chicago music and Latin dance scene. She took a trip to Dominican Republic that solidified her desire to travel and teach people who never thought they could be bilingual that not only can they learn another language, they can learn it fast and well!
